Weather consideration: There’s not much to consider with regards to the wind, as both Saturday and Sunday will see wind pop up in the 7-16mph range which is close to what conditions were in the first two rounds; the temperature will be great, in the high 80s which should help add some distance to shots.

Unfortunately though, there’s the matter of thunderstorms: 20% chance in the afternoon on Saturday, and a 70% chance on Sunday. That could push play into a Monday finish depending on when it’s supposed to hit on Sunday, or more likely split tees Sunday morning. That won’t affect the course, but prepare for lengthy delays.

MDF consideration: It was close, but not this week.
