Notable missed cuts (+1 was the line): Luke List, Matt Every, Talor Gooch, Sung Kang, Phil Mickelson, Jason Day, Keegan Bradley, Matt Kuchar, Branden Grace, Justin Thomas, Charley Hoffman, Kyle Stanley, Rory McIlroy. Sam Burns and Ernie Els withdrew.

Weather consideration: Saturday should be relatively calm in the morning with light winds and no rain, but the afternoon will see the wind pick up to ~15-18mph and thunderstorms roll in which means if there’s no delays, the leaders on Saturday will have tougher conditions than the golfers at the back of the pack.

Sunday will be similar to Saturday with the morning wave having the advantage – the winds will again pick up in the afternoon – but without the threat of thunderstorms. The Sunday morning group could see some showers but not enough to delay play; they will be playing on a rain-softened course which means approach shots should hold greens better than they have so far.

PLEASE NOTE: the Tour could decide to split tees and send golfers off in threesomes (on either day). At this point I don’t think they will, but if they do the early wave advantage on both days will be moot.
