Weather consideration: The weekend will be night & day compared to the tough first two days of the tournament, with the wind easing down to 15-25mph at a peak compared to the 25 mph+ winds that Thursday and Friday saw. Wind will still be up both Saturday and Sunday, but there’s no real advantage in terms of early/late tee times.
Saturday will see about 0.5” of rain after Friday’s consistent light showers, so the course will be pretty softened up for weekend play. That means target golf and a premium on distance off the tee more than was seen in rounds one and two.
