Weather consideration: Saturday morning could see some rain/thunderstorms which would push play, but Friday night will definitely see rain, so the course will be rain-softened for weekend play. As if players haven’t put up enough birdies so far, they’ll have a great chance to build on that over the weekend as the greens will be even more receptive than they’ve been. Drives will be a touch shorter as the ball won’t roll out in the flat fairways as much, but approach shots will be exponentially easier.

Sunday will be warm and sunny, with the winds picking up slightly into the 8-16mph range but not enough to impact play.

MDF consideration: NOPE, but boy was that close. Big props to Kyle Jones and Joey Garber for pushing the cut line back to -5 and avoiding the MDF.
