Weekend Warriors – RBC Canadian Open

The Weekend Golf format is very different from the Classic Golf format and it is important to know how to build winning lineups and attack these contests over on DraftKings.  Simply put, Weekend Golf is all about scoring.  Fantasy points for finishing positions are no longer awarded so selecting the right golfers for your lineup will require the right mix of golfers who started off well and others who might just be finding their form for a solid weekend run.

The weekend

Notable missed cuts (-4 is the line): Sergio Garcia, Matt Kuchar, Adam Hadwin, Chez Reavie, Bubba Watson, Patrick Rodgers, Brooks Koepka, Wesley Bryan (via DQ and a horrible second round)

Weather consideration:  It’ll be cold and windy on both Saturday and Sunday, but there’s only a 20-30% chance of rain, and the winds will be relatively quiet, just 12mph. There’s a very small chance of rain overnight which would continue to make the course soft and easy, especially for the morning crew, but there’s just the tiniest advantage to that group if any – even with no MDF, there’s no stress of dealing with guys at the back of the pack that tee off early, but the advantage is minimal.

MDF consideration:  It was tight, but NOPE!
