Notable missed cuts (+2 was the line): Pat Perez and Paul Casey WD. Brendan Steele, Si Woo Kim, Jon Rahm, Zach Johnson, Sungjae Im, Chez Reavie, Joel Dahmen, Xander Schauffele, Bud Cauley, Rickie Fowler, Bryson DeChambeau all missed.

Weather consideration: The weather will be very similar on both Saturday and Sunday in terms of heat – humid and temps in the high-80s – and in terms of wind, with sustained winds in the 10-16mph range and gusts up to 25mph. Those conditions are basically exactly what players experienced on Friday, so players that performed well in the second round shouldn’t be facing anything too unexpected; the ball should travel further thanks to the heat but there isn’t much else that would be a factor. There’s a small chance of rain on Saturday but even if it hits, it won’t be anywhere close to enough to delay play or affect the course.
