Weekend Warriors – AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

The weekend

Important notes:

• Only 2/3 of the field has ShotLink data, and that data only exists for one round so it’s a very small sample size.
• With the cut not coming until after Saturday’s round, playing R3 Showdown is the safest decision to make. Keeping it very safe by playing players in the top ~30 or so is the other option for full Weekend slates, but those players will definitely be incredibly chalky.
• After two days, the easiest course is Monterey Peninsula so targeting players who will play that course and make the cut to Sunday is the ‘safe’ roster construction this weekend and will be popular.
• The other option would be targeting players who performed well at Pebble, since they’ll get to play that track on Sunday (assuming they make the cut).
• Given the weather, targeting players at Spyglass Hill (the most protected of the three courses) has a lot of upside and should come with low ownership.

Weather consideration: The weather will be perfect in terms of the temperature (warm enough!), precipitation (none!) and sun (lots of it!), but wind will be the major factor over the next two days.
