Weekend Warriors – Safeway Open

The Weekend Golf format is very different from the Classic Golf format and it is important to know how to build winning lineups and attack these contests over on DraftKings. Simply put, Weekend Golf is all about scoring. Fantasy points for finishing positions are no longer awarded so selecting the right golfers for your lineup will require the right mix of golfers who started off well and others who might just be finding their form for a solid weekend run.

Notable missed cuts (-3): Wesley Bryan, Ollie Schniederjans, Peter Uihlein, Adam Hadwin, Trey Mullinax, Jamie Lovemark, Russell Henley, Russell Knox

Weather consideration: It’ll be sunny and cool on both Saturday and Sunday, but wind should be a big factor on Sunday – sustained around 15mph, but with gusts up to 25mph; typically anything under 15 is no concern, but those gusts could be murder at the wrong time. Course should stay dry and the greens shouldn’t see any weather impact.

MDF consideration: Sadly, yes. Be careful with the fellas near the cut line, although only ~10 players will get MDF’ed. Could get sub-5% guys near the cut line, but make sure to weigh the risk/rewards and don’t make that play in cash.
