Welcome to our 9th year of PGA coverage here at Fantasy Golf Insider. It is hard to believe how fast time flies by each year since we began our endeavor, but one thing remains the same and that is the level of excitement that I feel every year in January as the Tour comes back to life and the Hawaiian portion begins. Maybe it is the beautiful scenery, maybe it is the later start times and evening golf or perhaps it is the return of PGA DFS, but I am always especially excited this time of year. The whole west coast swing always feels fresh and new and the fields are always interesting and filled with top level names.

There are going to be a lot of changes on tour this season now that the LIV Tour has ramped up and will compete side by side with the PGA Tour. I am doing my best to reserve judgement, but so far, it seems like the PGA Tour will be implementing a lot of positive changes that should improve the game, even if the fields seem a bit diminished. The key here is that there are so many young, talented players waiting in the wings that I do not think it will be long before many step up to fill the void. Just as there are other MMA leagues around the world besides the UFC, the LIV Tour can exist without destroying the product that we are most focused on. I also see that the Masters will not be excluding LIV members this year and expect the other major tournaments to fall in line. It seems far-fetched that the LIV Tour will not receive OWGR points for its players at some point so in the long term, my own thought is that we will still see four events each year with a loaded field.

Before I jump headfirst into the TOC, I want to mention our NFL DFS website, Football Insider Edge.
