Fantasy Golf Insider Beat the Experts FanDuel Contest

The Firestone Country Club will host the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational for the final time before the tournament relocates to TPC Southwind next year.  It is a stock par 70 that measures 7,400 yards in length and features the PGA TOUR-long 667 yards par-5 16^th.  Previous leaderboards of the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational show that the longer hitters typically go well here, however plenty of other types have also found their way into contention.  Overall, golfers who are long and accurate off of the tee will likely play well this week, but those who also have an accurate approach game will be the ones threatening to win.  Finally, the current weather forecast for Akron, Ohio calls for a chance of rain and thunderstorms on Thursday and Friday before things clear up over the weekend.  Winds should stay manageable throughout the tournament and are not expected to peak over 8 mph.

The FGI PGA Interactive Model is going to assist us with our lineup building process because it identifies the golfers with solid Recent Form and whose Key Stats set up nicely at Firestone Country Club.  It also allows us to factor in Course History as well as an emphasis on Vegas (odds to win).  Below are the FGI PGA Interactive Model Overall weightings I will be using this week along with the Key Stats weightings for the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational provided by our friends at Fantasy Golf Metrics:
