Fantasy Golf Insider Beat the Experts FanDuel Contest

The Quicken Loans National will play at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm one more time before relocating to Detroit in 2019.  This difficult par 70 course measures 7,107 yards in length and accuracy off of the tee will be required in order to go well around here.  Landing the ball close to the pin can help make up for a below average putter as Kyle Stanley showed last year en route to victory.  That game plan is unlikely to work again for him because a large number of entrants are also returning from last year’s competition.  Overall, golfers with a solid tee-to-green game will likely play well this week, but those who are consistent in hitting fairways and taking advantage of scoring opportunities will be the ones threatening to win.  Finally, the current weather forecast for Potomac, Maryland calls for hot and humid summerlike conditions with manageable 10 mph winds on Thursday before they fade away and become a nonfactor on Friday and over the weekend.

The FGI PGA Interactive Model is going to assist us with our lineup building process because it identifies the golfers with solid Recent Form and whose Key Stats set up nicely for TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm.  It also allows us to factor in Course History as well as an emphasis on Vegas (odds to win).  Below are the FGI PGA Interactive Model Overall weightings I will be using this week along with the Key Stats weightings for the Quicken Loans National provided by our friends at Fantasy Golf Metrics:
