Fantasy Golf Insider Beat the Experts FanDuel Contest

Bellerive Country Club will host the 100th edition of the PGA Championship for what will probably be the final time this tournament is contested in the summertime.  It is moving to May next year and will become the second major of the season after the Masters.  Bellerive Country Club is a stock par 70 that measures 7,316 yards in length and last hosted the BMW Championship in 2008.  Camilo Villegas came out on top back then with a winning score of 15-under 265.  Much of the leaderboard behind him featured golfers with an accurate approach game, so that tells us a little something about what it takes to succeed here.  Much like at Firestone Country Club last week, golfers who are long and accurate off of the tee will likely play well this week, but those who also have an accurate approach game will be the ones threatening to win.  Finally, the current weather forecast for St. Louis, Missouri calls for warm and muggy conditions with a chance of thunderstorms over the weekend.  Winds should not be much of a factor.

The FGI PGA Interactive Model is going to assist us with our lineup building process because it identifies the golfers with solid Recent Form and whose Key Stats set up nicely at Bellerive Country Club.  It also allows us to factor in Tournament History as well as an emphasis on Vegas (odds to win).  Below are the FGI PGA Interactive Model Overall weightings I will be using this week along with the Key Stats weightings for the PGA Championship provided by our friends at Fantasy Golf Metrics:
