Olympic Men’s Golf Competition Preview:

The 2020 Olympic Games were delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so Justin Rose was able to maintain his status as the most recent gold medal winner in Olympic Men’s Golf Competition for a year longer than usual.  Now, the originally scheduled 2020 Olympic Games will take place and the Olympic Men’s Golf Competition will be played at Kasumigaseki Country Club in Saitama, Japan.  Kasumigaseki Country Club will play as a par 71 course that measures 7,447 yards in length.  Solid ball-striking is usually required to go well in this event due to overall unfamiliarity of the course.  The previous leaderboard of the Olympic Men’s Golf Competition in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil five years ago confirms that as well.  So, expect the golfers coming in with excellent recent form and that have major championship and/or Ryder Cup/President’s Cup experience to go well in this Olympic Men’s Golf Competition.  However, it will be the golfers who also come equipped with a world class approach game threatening for a podium finish at Kasumigaseki Country Club this Olympic Games.
