Fantasy Golf Insider Beat the Experts FanDuel Contest

The PGA TOUR travels south of the border this week to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico for the Mayakoba Golf Classic.  As it has for many years, this event will be played at El Camaleón Golf Club.  It is a Greg Norman designed course and has not played too difficult over the years.  El Camaleón Golf Club measures at just 6,987 yards and will play as another par 71.  The big hitters do not have their typical advantage with length off the tee because driving accuracy and an accurate approach game are more of a premium here.  Strategic golfers have typically gone well here in the past, but it takes a great putting week in order to be a threat to win.  This event should continue to be a birdiefest even though at times the course can be affected by the wind.  The latest weather forecast for Playa Del Carmen, Mexico can be found here.

The FGI PGA Interactive Model is going to assist us with our lineup building process because it identifies the golfers with solid Recent Form and whose Key Stats set up nicely at El Camaleón Golf Club.  It also allows us to factor in Course History as well as an emphasis on Vegas (odds to win).  Below are the FGI PGA Interactive Model Overall weightings I will be using this week along with the Key Stats weightings for the Mayakoba Golf Classic provided by our friends at Fantasy Golf Metrics:
