18 of the world’s best golfers come together in New Providence Island for the final stroke-play event of the PGA TOUR calendar year.  Albany in The Bahamas will host the Hero World Challenge for the fourth straight year for.  Tiger Woods made his triumphant return to competitive golf at this event last year and has not slowed down since.  Albany was designed by Ernie Els and will play a par 72 measuring just over 7,300 yards.  It is very similar to a links style course that allows golfers to open up their game.  With five par 5s, there should be plenty of scoring opportunities especially for the golfers who can control their ball flight in windy conditions.  Finally, the latest weather forecast for New Providence, Bahamas can be found here.

The FGI PGA Interactive Model is going to assist us with our lineup building process because it identifies the golfers with solid Recent Form and whose Key Stats set up nicely at Albany.  It also allows us to factor in Course History as well as an emphasis on Vegas (odds to win).  Below are the FGI PGA Interactive Model Overall weightings I will be using this week along with the Key Stats weightings for the Hero World Challenge provided by our friends at Fantasy Golf Metrics:

FGI PGA Interactive Model Overall weights:

                Recent Form: 25%

                Key Stats: 25%

                Vegas: 25%
