Hero World Challenge Preview: 

18 of the world’s best golfers come together on New Providence for the final stroke-play event of the PGA TOUR calendar year.  Albany in The Bahamas will host the Hero World Challenge for the fifth consecutive year however the limited-field invitational will begin on a Wednesday this time around.  That is because 11 of the golfers in the field this week will also be competing in next week’s Presidents Cup in Australia.  The Saturday finish gives these golfers an extra day of travel to the “Land Down Under” and more time to adjust to the time zone shift.  Albany was designed by Ernie Els and will play a par 72 measuring just over 7,300 yards.  It is very similar to a links style course that allows golfers to open up their game.  With five par 5s, there should be plenty of scoring opportunities especially for the golfers who can control their ball flight in windy conditions.
