TPC Boston will host the second event of the FedExCup Playoffs for the last time this week before it moves to a new spot in the rotation for THE NORTHERN TRUST starting in 2020.  TPC Boston is usually the easiest of the FedEx Cup playoffs courses and that trend will likely continue in this year’s edition of the Dell Technologies Championship.  It is a par 71 course that measures 7,342 yards in length with generous fairways that tend to favor the power hitters.  An accurate approach game that sets up plenty of scoring opportunities is necessary in order to go well here.  Ultimately, it will come down to the golfers who have their tee-to-green game working and also putting well.  They will be the ones threatening to win the second event of the FedExCup Playoffs come Monday afternoon.  Finally, the current weather forecast for Norton, Massachusetts calls for temperatures in the mid-70s with light breezes during the opening rounds of the tournament.  Temperatures and the chance of rain increase on Sunday and over to Monday when the final round concludes on Labor Day.

The FGI PGA Interactive Model is going to assist us with our lineup building process because it identifies the golfers with solid Recent Form and whose Key Stats set up nicely at TPC Boston.  It also allows us to factor in Course History as well as an emphasis on Vegas (odds to win).  Below are the FGI PGA Interactive Model Overall weightings I will be using this week along with the Key Stats weightings for the Dell Technologies Championship provided by our friends at Fantasy Golf Metrics:

FGI PGA Interactive Model Overall weights:

                Recent Form: 40%

                Key Stats: 40%

                Vegas: 10%

                Course History: 10%

FGI PGA Interactive Model Key Stats weights:

                SGT2G: 25%

                SGOTT: 5%

                SGP: 20%

                PROX: 15%

                SPROX: 10%

                PAR5: 5%

                BOB%: 20%
