With the season’s second major championship officially in the books, the PGA TOUR heads back to Texas for the Charles Schwab Challenge.  Recent editions of this event include the Fort Worth Invitational (no title sponsor), Dean & Deluca Invitational and Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial.  The Colonial Country Club has remained a constant though ever since the inaugural edition in 1946.  It is a classical, tree-lined layout that plays as a par 70 measuring at 7,209 yards.  The Colonial Country Club rewards golfers with a solid tee-to-green game and experience playing here typically matters.  Overall, golfers with a solid approach game will likely play well this week, but the ones able to land the ball close to the pin and sink putts will be the ones threatening to win.
