BMW Championship Preview: 

Caves Valley Golf Club will host the BMW Championship this week as the second event of the FedExCup Playoffs this 2020-21 season.  It is a Tom Fazio designed course that has yet to host a modern-day PGA TOUR event, but it has hosted a few PGA Tour Champions and collegiate events since it debuted in 1991.  Caves Valley Golf Club will play as a stock par 72 course that measures 7,542 yards in length and since its bentgrass greens will be mostly unfamiliar to this field of 69, tee-to-green specialists will have an advantage.  Hitting fairways along with accurate iron play that sets up scoring opportunities will be the formula to have a chance over the weekend.  Ultimately, it will come down to the golfers who have their approach game working and putting well during the final rounds of play.  They will be the ones threatening to win the BMW Championship come Sunday afternoon.
