The AT&T Byron Nelson finds a new home this year at the Trinity Forest Golf Club after 35 seasons at the TPC Four Seasons. The Trinity Forest Golf Club is an American style links course that plays as a par 71 measuring at 7,380 yards without any trees or water hazards. A unique feature is the 36,000-square foot double green that the 3rd and the 11th holes share. Overall, golfers with a solid approach game will likely play well this week, but ones able to land the ball close to the pin through the air will be the ones threatening to win. Lastly, winds have potential to be a factor this week without any trees on the layout, but otherwise a warm week is in the forecast with only a small chance of rain and storms at the beginning and end of the tournament.
The FGI PGA Interactive Model is going to assist us with our lineup building process because it identifies the best golfers with solid Recent Form and whose Key Stats set up nicely for the Trinity Forest Golf Club. It also allows us to factor in previous Course Form as well as an emphasis on Vegas (odds to win).
