Fantasy Golf Insider Beat the Experts FanDuel Contest

The Greenbrier Classic has been renamed to A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier this year, but The Old White TPC continues to serve as its host.  The Old White TPC is one of the longer par 70 courses on the PGA TOUR at 7,286 yards, and the previous winners of this event show that any type of golfer can go well here.  The wide fairways give the bombers more room off of the tee, however the shorter hitters should also see their drives go a few yards longer since the elevation is 2,000 feet above sea level.  Overall, golfers who successfully avoid the bunkers will likely play well this week, but those who are also good with their putter will be the ones threatening to win.  Finally, the current weather forecast for White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia calls for a 90% chance of rain and thunderstorms on Friday so play could be suspended.  Wind will stay below 10 mph for the entire tournament and not be a factor.

The FGI PGA Interactive Model is going to assist us with our lineup building process because it identifies the golfers with solid Recent Form and whose Key Stats set up nicely for The Old White TPC.  It also allows us to factor in Course History as well as an emphasis on Vegas (odds to win).  Below are the FGI PGA Interactive Model Overall weightings I will be using this week along with the Key Stats weightings for A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier provided by our friends at Fantasy Golf Metrics:
