The second event of the PGA TOUR’s Asian Swing this year is the inaugural ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP and it will also be a limited-field invitational with no cut.  The Accordia Golf Narashino County Club will serve as the host and it is an unusual course by modern PGA TOUR standards.  It is a par 34-36—70 (five par 3s and three par 5s) that measures 7,041 yards in length.  This is an older course in Japan, and it was constructed with two greens on every hole.  The par-4 4th hole will utilize both of its greens during The ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP.  For the other holes, golfers will be allowed relief if their approach shot lands on the wrong green.  The opening rounds of The ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP are expected to be wet and windy, so it is important for golfers to not lose too many strokes during this time if they want to get into the mix over the weekend.  Things lighten up on Saturday and Sunday appears to be the best day for golf so an entertaining finish could be in the works in Chiba, Japan.
