The Weekend Golf format is very different from the Classic Golf format and it is important to know how to build winning lineups and attack these contests over on DraftKings.  Simply put, Weekend Golf is all about scoring.  Fantasy points for finishing positions are no longer awarded so selecting the right golfers for your lineup will require the right mix of golfers who started off well and others who might just be finding their form for a solid weekend run.

Great importance is put on Birdies & Eagles and conversely very little is put on Bogeys or worse for accumulating fantasy points.  Due to this fact, Birdie or Better % is the primary Key Stat when analyzing golfers.  Par 3, 4, 5 Scoring will also be considered especially when previous success on a specific course had a high correlation to one or more of those Key Stats.

Rounds 1 & 2 Recap for THE CJ CUP @ NINE BRIDGES:

The first two rounds at THE CJ CUP @ NINE BRIDGES could not have been more different from one another.  In the first round golfers saw ideal scoring conditions and most of them took full advantage of that.  Justin Thomas led the field with a 9-under-par 63 that featured two eagles.  This was nice to see after a mediocre performance by his standards at the CIMB Classic.  Marc Leishman, Patrick Reed, Chez Reavie, Scott Brown and Gavin Green were all tied for second after opening rounds of 66s.  A very popular DFS pick in Adam Scott was only able to walk away with an even par after the first round as he admittedly said post round that he is still working on a few things in his game.

The second round of THE CJ CUP @ NINE BRIDGES had much windier condition and we saw a lot of golfers struggle mightily.  Most notably were Xander Schauffele who fell 52 spots after shooting a 10-over-par 82 and Gavin Green who fell 62 spots while also shooting a 10-over-par 82.  Seeing Xander Schauffele struggle this bad was a bit of a shock considering the high level of form he has been displaying over the last few months.  Luke List, Lucas Glover and Brendan Grace were all able to adjust to the more difficult scoring conditions and all fired 5-under-par scores of 67.  The South Korea native, Seung-Yul Noh, led all scorers in the second round with a bogey-free 7-under-par 65.  He is playing on a sponsor invite and will look to keep his second round momentum going over the weekend.
