Wyndham Championship Leaderboard Heading into the Weekend:
Russell Henley showed terrific form at the Wyndham Championship during the opening rounds when he shot a round one 8-under 62 and followed that up with a 6-under 64 in round two. Henley will enter the weekend as the 36-hole leader at Sedgefield Country Club with a four-stroke advantage. Webb Simpson was looking to improve off his T15 finish at the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational last week when he shot a total of 10-under par on Thursday and Friday at the Wyndham Championship. He is currently T2 on the leaderboard after two rounds of play in Greensboro, North Carolina and is one of the betting favorites after Henley to win the Wyndham Championship. Rory Sabbatini is enjoying his time at Sedgefield Country Club so far as he displayed a solid tee-to-green game and a hot putter during the first two rounds of the Wyndham Championship. Sabbatini will also enter the weekend T2 on the leaderboard. Justin Rose, Tyler Duncan, and Brian Stuard also impressed on the golf course after they all fired 9-under par thus far. They sit at T5 on the Wyndham Championship leaderboard heading into the weekend. Hideki Matsuyama, Brian Harman, Jason Kokrak and Gary Woodland all made too many mistakes and will not get a weekend tee time at Sedgefield Country Club after being considered pretournament favorites. The weather in Greensboro, North Carolina is expected to remain hot and muggy over the weekend with the chance of a passing thunderstorm or two causing another delay, but hopefully an exciting conclusion with plenty of Weekend Golf scoring is on the way.
Round 1 Scoring Avg: 68.353
Round 2 Scoring Avg: 69.641
