Stat Boy’s Weekend Warriors – WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational

WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational Leaderboard Heading into the Weekend:
Harris English showed great form at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational during the opening rounds when he shot a round one 8-under 62 and followed that up with a 5-under 65 in round two. English will enter the weekend as the 36-hole leader at TPC Southwind with a two-stroke advantage. Cameron Smith and Abraham Ancer were both looking to improve off their respective Olympic Men’s Golf Competition finishes last week when they both shot a total of 11-under par on Thursday and Friday at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational. They are currently T2 on the leaderboard after two rounds of play in Memphis, Tennessee. Scottie Scheffler is enjoying his time at TPC Southwind so far as he showed off his elite tee-to-green game during the first two rounds of the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational. Scheffler will enter the weekend T4 on the leaderboard and is one of the betting favorites to win the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational. Ian Poulter and Sam Burns also impressed on the golf course after they both fired 10-under par thus far. They join Scottie Scheffler at T4 on the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational leaderboard heading into the weekend. Brooks Koepka, Collin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele and Jordan Spieth all made too many mistakes and are not in serious contention at TPC Southwind after being considered pretournament favorites. The weather in Memphis, Tennessee is expected to remain more of the same over the weekend so hopefully an exciting conclusion with plenty of Weekend Golf scoring is on the way.
Round 1 Scoring Avg: 68.394
Round 2 Scoring Avg: 68.197
