Sanderson Farms Championship Leaderboard Heading into the Weekend:
After missing the cut at the U.S. Open and Safeway Open to begin his 2020-21 PGA TOUR season, Keegan Bradley was hoping to get his game going in the right direction in Jackson, Mississippi. Well, Bradley has done exactly that so far at the Sanderson Farms Championship when he shot a round one 6-under 66 at the Country Club of Jackson and followed that up with a 7-under 65 in round two. Bradley will enter the weekend as the solo leader after 36 holes at the Sanderson Farms Championship. Charley Hoffman and J.T. Poston also got off to fast starts at the Country Club of Jackson. They sit in a tie for 2nd place and two strokes behind Bradley on the Sanderson Farms Championship leaderboard. After missing the cut at the Safeway Open and a mediocre T41 finish at the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship, Denny McCarthy got hot with his putter during the opening rounds at the Country Club of Jackson. He sits along with Kristoffer Ventura at T5 on the Sanderson Farms Championship leaderboard heading into the weekend. Anirban Lahiri continued his solid form after finishing T6 last week at the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship. He is joined by Kevin Chappell, Sergio Garcia, Brandt Snedeker and Talor Gooch at T7 on the Sanderson Farms Championship leaderboard. Will Zalatoris finally ran out a gas is among the most notables that missed the cut at the Sanderson Farms Championship. Plenty of scoring should be on tap at the Sanderson Farms Championship over the weekend so all signs point to a fantastic finish at the Country Club of Jackson.
