Stat Boy’s Weekend Warriors – Farmers Insurance Open

Farmers Insurance Open Leaderboard Heading into the Weekend:

Jon Rahm showed off dazzling form at the Farmers Insurance Open during the opening rounds when he shot a round one 6-under 66 and followed that up with a 7-under 65 in round two.  Rahm will enter the weekend as a co-36-hole leader at Torrey Pines GC (South) and has a 44.39% implied probability to win.  Justin Thomas showed why he was one of pretournament betting favorites when he shot a total of 13-under par on Wednesday and Thursday at the Farmers Insurance Open.  He is currently T1 on the leaderboard after Thursday’s round in La Jolla, California.  Cameron Tringale is enjoying his time at Torrey Pines GC (South) as he displayed a solid tee-to-green game and hot putter during the first two rounds of the Farmers Insurance Open.  He is currently 12-under par and in solo 4^th place on the leaderboard.  Adam Schenk also impressed on the golf course after he fired 13-under par thus far.  He joins Jon Rahm and Justin Thomas in first place on the Farmers Insurance Open leaderboard.  Bryson DeChambeau, Sam Burns, Tony Finau, Brooks Koepka, Jordan Spieth, Corey Conners and Max Homa could not get much going at Torrey Pines GC (South) during the opening rounds and will not get weekend tee times.  The weather in La Jolla, California should remain relatively calm, so hopefully an exciting conclusion with plenty of Weekend Golf scoring is on the way.
