Stat Boy’s Weekend Warriors – AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am
By Erik Dantoft
AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Leaderboard Heading into the Weekend:
Coming off a T4 finish last week at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Jordan Spieth kept his good form going during the opening rounds of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am when he shot a round one 7-under 65 and followed that up with a 5-under 67 in round two. Spieth will enter the weekend as the solo leader in Pebble Beach, California. Daniel Berger came into the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am off a missed cut at the Waste Management Phoenix Open but was able to rediscover his good form from his T7 finish at the Sony Open in Hawaii at Pebble Beach Golf Links when he shot a total of 11-under par on Thursday and Friday. He sits in solo 2nd place on the leaderboard after two rounds of play. Patrick Cantlay was also coming in hot and showed off his elite tee-to-green game during the first two rounds at Pebble Beach Golf Links. He is joined by Tom Lewis and Paul Casey at T4 on the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am leaderboard heading into the weekend. Henrik Norlander continues to impress on the golf course after firing 10-under par thus far. He is by himself in solo 3rd place after 36 holes in Pebble Beach, California. Si Woo Kim, Rickie Fowler, Phil Mickelson and Alex Noren all made too many mistakes to get a weekend tee time at Pebble Beach Golf Links. The weather in Pebble Beach, California is expected to be windy over the weekend and with a bunched-up leaderboard, an exciting conclusion at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am should be in order.
