Jeff’s Hardcore Core- Zurich Classic of New Orleans

Another event in the books and another Scottie Scheffler victory.  I knew there was a reason I decided to have him a part of my core every week he played this season.  Unfortunately, I chose to deviate from that strategy last week, with the concern of a hangover following The Masters combined with possible lack of focus with his incoming baby, all while on a highly variable course that can sometimes come down to putting.  Well all of that didn’t matter, because Scottie is the best in the world and it isn’t close right now.  I am curious to see if Draftkings adjusts his salary going forward and makes it more complicated to build quality rosters around him or if they will just keep it what it has been and have it be a no-brainer to buy him each and every week.

This week we move to the quirky, Zurich classic where we have a team event and the fourth year we have had DFS for it.  I am not sure where those years went, because it feels like yesterday we were talking about strategy for it since it was new.  It has been interesting to say the least the first few editions and I am expecting no different this year.  Best of luck this week Team FGI!
