Jeff’s Hardcore Core- World Wide Technology Championship @ Mayakoba

From one beautiful, tropical location to the next, it is good to be a player on the PGA Tour.  Heading from Bermuda last week to Playa del Carmen in Mexico, the courses actually have quite a bit in common, although not exactly the same.  This event has been played in Mayakoba for a while now, so we have a nice sample size of course history for a lot of players.  Surprisingly, we actually have a really strong field this week with the likes of JT, Brooks, and defending champ Viktor Hovland to name a few. We have Mayakoba this week, then Houston next week, followed by RSM, and then the Hero, and then we are right back in Hawaii to start the new calendar year.  It is crazy how fast these years go.  I will be sitting by my fireplace watching sunny Mayakoba this week as it has dropped down to the 30’s here in Minnesota, which is very depressing.  One of these years I will head down to Mexico as I would like to check out this course in person.  Good luck this week my friends!
