Jeff’s Hardcore Core- WM Phoenix Open

Another fun event this week as  over 100,000 spectators converge on TPC Scottsdale to come and party, consume a ton of adult beverages, and the 16^th hole remains one of the most entertaining on tour.

The best part is how the tournament leads into the Super Bowl on Sunday and I also love how Team FGI has had some real big years with this event by picking outright winners and smashing our core.

One fun item I will share is that I tried to get on to play TPC Scottsdale in January because it is a public course.  Tee times were available all day every day, but ran a cool $500.  I thought that was bit steep for that course, so I elected not to play it. That is like Pebble Beach type green fees.    Maybe sometime in the future I will play it, but I can see why they had so many open tee times.
