Jeff’s Hardcore Core- WGC Match Play

For those of you who have been around a little while, you remember the days where the match play event meant a week off of DFS golf. Three years ago however Draftkings woke up and realized it wasn’t rocket science to build a contest that would accommodate the match play format. I have to be honest and tell you that the match play event has grown on me. At first I was kind of annoyed by it, but the last couple of years I have actually found myself liking it. I think the big reason for this is how we at FGI have found out that we have a very nice edge over the field this week. There is a ton of strategy involved in this format and most people are not aware of it. The last three years we have been spot on with how we build our cores and lineups. Between the brackets not being announced until Monday  and the tournament starting on Wednesday we have only a tiny bit of time to get our information into Team FGI’s hands. Normally our podcast includes a broad and brief overview of the tournament and some of our initial likes in the player pool. This week we will dive way into the bracket, include our strategy for the week, and not hold anything back.
