For the first time ever we have DFS for the WGC Match Play! I love when we have new contests, because it gives us a chance to strategize and get a leg up on the field. This is the reason we have been dominating weekend golf since its existence, because we have implemented a strategy that others still do not.

This week we have a brand new product, with different format and scoring. Be sure to read, and re-read the scoring before you even think about playing. Understand how it is going to work and exactly what you are looking for. In addition to creating this new contest for match-play, Draftkings has also brought back the low dollar, 150-max team GPP with $100k first prize. We have been begging and pleading with them for so long now to offer that, because there is a really large market for it and it gives us players in the know the ability to truly utilize a solid built core. It is difficult in the 20-max games to get the type of exposure we want to players and most of us cannot afford to max enter the $33 GPP for $4,950. I would recommend that if you are going to play this week and build a lot of lineups to utilize our lineup generator.

Be sure to listen to our podcast this week as we did something different and just made it available to FGI premium members.  We talked a ton about specific strategy for this event and about the bracket in depth, including all of our plays.  Usually we do not reveal all of our picks on the podcast, so we keep them sacred in our articles for our loyal members and not to the entire world via itunes.  The podcast is 100% all of our information this week.  I think Team FGI truly dominates this week.

This is going to be a very exciting week, but before we dive in lets recap the Arnold Palmer Invitational. With the smaller field it was easier to get more guys through the cut and my core certainly did well in getting guys through the cut as only Matthew Fitzpatrick, Patton Kizzire, and Kevin Kisner missed the cut out of the 17 guys included. It was another Sunday where it looked like one of my core members, Henrik Stenson, who was lightly owned was going to be able to win for us, but yet again it was snatched out of our grasp. Rory McIlroy put on one of the unconscious performances that he has been known to pull out occasionally and blow away the field on Sunday. Stenson still posted a 4th place finish, which was still solid and produced value for us. In addition to Henrik others that exceeded value for us included Kevin Chappell (at only $7,300) who finished T7, Luke List (T7), Kyle Stanley(T14), Charles Howell III (T14), Grillo (T26), Molinari (T26), and Austin Cook (T36). The only real catastrophic disappointments besides the guys who missed the cut were Ty Hatton and James Hahn, but he was only $7,600, so it didn’t single handedly sink lineups like a mc. Overall a decent, but again not amazing week. I saw a lot of Team FGI that put up some nice cashes, especially those who added Rory to their mix. I am confident we will see a lot of FGI logos up top of the leaderboards this week with this new event and hope that one of us can pop that $100k in the $5. Best of luck to all of you and let me know if you have a sweat going on Sunday!
