Jeff’s Hardcore Core- Valspar Championship
I am happy to say that I practiced what I preached last week and cut my weekly bankroll in a third because frankly I just do not really like that event, did not feel super comfortable with it, and was unsure of how it would play out being its first year with DFS. The event itself was fine although I much prefer the normal stroke play events, it is a fine alternative one week of the year. I had a really difficult time getting teams through the cut in tact and had next to none with 6/6. I saw a ton of FGI logos up top leaderboards however so you guys obviously had a better feel for the event than I did. That just shows you how amazing good the FGI community is. Honestly, there is no better bunch of DFS golf players as a whole than who we have sporting our logo and I am so happy and proud to know that. Thank you all for your loyalty and making us look good. For those of you who want to utilize these great minds, be sure to jump in our slack chat, which most of these folks are in on a daily basis. Onto an event this week that I feel so much better about and have had some success with in the past, so I will be playing my normal weekly bankroll, which comes out to about 15% of my overall bankroll. It is another Florida course, but it is a tough, grueling test of golf this week where par will be a good score. On a side note, I am going to be heading down to Florida in August on a little family vacation and would love to play Copperhead (or Bay Hill). If any of you know how I can get a tee time without dropping a ton of money by staying in the resorts, I would appreciate some advice or a hook up. I will certainly pay for the round, I am not asking for a freebie, I just want to get on the course, which looks rather tough to do from the research that I have done. Thanks Team FGI, now let’s go kick some ass this week!
