Jeff’s Hardcore Core- The U.S Open
The 3rd major of the year, The U.S Open tees off this week from Pinehurst No.2 in Pinehurst, North Carolina. We last saw Pinehurst No. 2 back in 2014 when Martin Kaymer stormed the field and won easily shooting -9 for the week, while the runner-ups finished at -1.
Of course we have the return of the LIV players for this one, which adds an element of interest. Scottie Scheffler though is a man on a mission and I am not sure anybody can take him out the way he is playing right now. Listed at only 4-1 to win the US Open is absolute madness. We have not seen dominance like this since Tiger. It will be interesting to see if Scottie can continue it for a prolonged period of time like Tiger did.
