Jeff’s Hardcore Core- The Players Championship

We were treated to another outstanding finish last week at Bay Hill as it was a five way race all the way down to the final few holes.  Kurt Kitayama was able to fend off top names in the world to win easily the biggest tournament of his career.  Interestingly, he won just as much on Sunday as he had won all combined throughout his career.  It was good to see him win, but for my own purposes I was rooting for Rory, Scheffler, Spieth, and Hatton as I had large stakes of all of them in my core.  With Griffin, Young, Riley all cracking the Top 15 as well, it turned out to be a profitable week.   I picked a good week to avoid Jon Rahm for the first time all year as he just could not get it going at a course he never plays.  We keep rolling in Florida for The Players Championship this week, one of my favorite events and courses all year.  It is another tough course, although not as tough as Bay Hill.  It is certainly a course that makes even the best in the world look pretty silly at times.  I would assume they will be having the same amazing coverage through their app as they did last year, so be sure to download that this week to follow.  Best of luck this week Team FGI!
