We have talked about it many times before, without any exposure to the winner of the tournament, it is next to impossible to win a really large field GPP.  Unfortunately  I elected to ride Jordan Spieth as my high priced guy last week rather than Justin Rose and that clearly did not work.  I really felt like last week was the week that Spieth broke out on a course that he has always dominated in the past. This week is interesting because we get a significant price cut and some owners folks might be tired of waiting for the breakout.  In addition to not owning Rose, I am also kicking myself a bit for not having Koepka in my core.  I owned a lot of him at The Players, but did not in Fort Worth and that turned out poorly as well.  What did work well is owning a ton of Grillo last week as he smashed his $8,600 price.  Tway was also a monster for us finishing T5 and you will see him in my core again this week as I think Muirfield sets up nicely for his game.  Chris Kirk, CT Pan, Rory Sabbatini, Chesson Hadley, JT Poston, Joel Dahmen, and Steve Stricker all worked out well for us.  Bryson DeChambeau, who I was very  high on started out great through two rounds, but then stalled and fell back as scoring continued for everybody but him.  Overall, not a good week for my core, which is disappointing because Colonial has been very good to us in the past. Muirfield and the Memorial has also been a good tournament for us, so I plan on getting back on the winning train that we have been on the last two months.

Stay true to your process and especially your bankroll management. I always hate seeing tweets from people that say they were wiped out in a given week.  You should never put yourself in a position where your entire bankroll or even all of your winnings are at risk.  DFS in general is very high variance, but GPPs take that to a new level.  Our goal is to hit a big score a few times a year.  What we have been doing over the past couple of months is extraordinary.  Do not get caught up in the success and forget your discipline when it comes to bankroll management. No more than 15% of your entire bankroll should be put at risk in a given week.  Crazy shit happens and we need to absorb the swings and stay in the game to allow us a chance to have those big pay days.  Now, let’s go kick some ass this week!!!!
