What an amazing tournament and finish we had last week for the Workday Charity Open at Muirfield Village and now we get to do it all over again this week with an even better field, how good is that?

Last week Muirfield Golf Club played very much how we thought it would play.  Difficult rough, faster greens (but not super fast), and pretty easy pin placements.  This week should be much of the same only longer rough as they won’t cut it, and speedier greens (13 on the stimp).  I would expect the pin placements to be a bit more difficult as well. We likely will not see a -2 cutline or the winner needing to get to -19. Typically, when the conditions get more difficult like that we tend to see the better players in the world excel and clog up the leaderboard.

It is a rare week where Draftkings offers a big $5, 150 max entry contest with $100k up top, which is pretty cool.  Not sure why they can’t manage to make that happen every week.  Best of luck this week team FGI and hopefully we get another classic like last week.
