Jeff’s Hardcore Core- The Memorial Tournament

My strategy last week was more of a stars and scrubs lineup composition as I was high on Jordan Spieth (T2). Actually I stacked Spieth and Garcia (T12) on a bunch of teams, since I liked the guys down in the low $7k/high $6k range like Haas (T12), Lee (6th), and Tway (T18). I also had quite a few teams with the Spieth/Kisner (1st) combination, which turned out real nice.

Overall, the Core had four guys of the 18 miss the cut including guys that have been ultra-dependable this year like Stanley, Dufner, and Perez. Between the three of them they were 30 of 33 in cuts made coming into last week. That is the unpredictability of the DFS golf game. Luckily when you nail most of the rest of your core, you are able to still end up profitable on the week. I feel like we have been really good at adapting to the wonky Draftkings pricing this year and have taken advantage of it. I was very surprised again that the guys I thought were blatently mis-priced last week and liked the most, Haas and Lee were only owned by 7% and 11% respectively in the lower dollar GPPs. This gives me confidence that we remain at a significant advantage over the field with our picks. Add in our game theory prowess and our long-term outlook will remain very positive.

This week, Draftkings continues its bizarre pricing, so yet again we will take advantage of it and slam others in GPPs. Keep reading for my strategy this week for the Memorial Tournament and the core that I will be using in my GPPs.
