Jeff’s Hardcore Core- The Masters

Ladies and Gentleman the Main Event, The Masters, The Millionaire Maker, if you are not excited this week, than you do not like PGA DFS.  For those of you who are new to FGI, this article that I write is specifically for large field tournaments, like the millionaire maker.  I have had a lot of success over the past two years having many four figure paydays and a couple five figure ones as well as two seats into the Draftkings Fantasy Golf World Championships and 6th place finish.  Team FGI is also proud to say that we have had several six figure winners over the past two years as well.  Because you are a member of FGI I give you the core of players that I will be using in my own personal GPP teams each week.  Some of these I feel have a legitimate chance to win the tournament, some I feel present supreme value, and some I believe will be under most people’s radars and their ownership will be low.  All are key aspects to winning GPPs.  This week’s millionaire make event is a bit different in that it will have over 200,000 entrants.  As you can guess, in order to win first prize we are going to have to be perfect, which includes picking the winner and everybody on your roster inside the Top 15, if not the Top 10.  My core will help you see what I am thinking and you certainly do not have to pick all of them or any of them for that matter (although as an FGI member you are more than welcome to).

Last week for The Shell Houston Open we had another absolutely fantastic week for the Hardcore Core, I have received tons of emails from you guys with your GPP successes for the third consecutive week. The Core included Cabrera Bello (4^th place), Reavie (T7),  Reed (T10),  Fowler (T10), Mickelson (T13), Spieth (T13), Lovemark (18^th), Vegas (T19),  and Mackenzie (T19).  Any time I can select 18 guys throughout all salary levels and have 9 of them crack the Top 20, I feel like we have legit chances of cashing huge.  I truly hope that we can make it 4 in a row and have someone from Team FGI win that $1M first prize this week.

The Top 10 is always loaded with the Top guys so I would advise getting a couple of them on your rosters and taking your chances in the $6k-$7k range with the rest.  Best of luck to you this week my friends and please let me know if I can sweat any of your teams on Sunday.
