Jeff’s Hardcore Core- The CJ Cup Byron Nelson

Unlike Arnold Palmer, who’s event continues to rank as one of the biggest of the year and maintains a loaded field, poor Lord Byron has had his event turned into a second class scrap heap of a PGA Tour event.  At least Scottie Scheffler is showing up to help with the top tier which has a gigantic drop-off from him with the likes of Sungjae Im, Jordan Speith, and Sam Burns.  TPC Ranch hosts again, now for the 5^th time, so we do have some course history to work with.  It is not a difficult course, so we will see a ton of scoring.  Taylor Pendrith won last year shooting -23.  It should be a wide open event for a ton of guys to have a chance to win, if they can outduel Scottie and not a bad event for outright betting, so be sure to check out our betting column.
