Jeff’s Hardcore Core- The Barclays

Last week the Wyndham Championship was a good one for the Core and my personal GPPs.  I was fortunate enough to win a $1,500 seat into the Main event tournament coming up in a couple weeks, along with several other decent cashes.  I had significant exposure  to Horschel, Cabrera Bello, Kisner, Na, Haas, and Dufner and it paid off.  I went with the more balanced approach and it proved to be the right one.  This week for The Barclays, I think the approach needs to be a bit different.  The strength of the field combined with the soft pricing in the middle to low price tiers, makes it possible to build all-star teams with studs.  If you roster Jason Day and Henrik Stenson you still have $6,400 each to select another four golfers and there are a ton of great options at and below that amount.
