Jeff’s Hardcore Core- Scottish Open (European Tour Package)

For as well as my Core did on the PGA Tour last week, my Core did that poorly for the Euro Tour. Although having Matsuyama, Fleetwood, and Uihlein was nice, most everybody else was piss poor. I guess Jon Rahm is back. I really wish that I would have believed in his performance the week before and felt like we would get a breakout from him, because he was dominant. Thomas Pieters continued to befuddle me with his erratic results. I need to really dive into whether I like him for The Open or not. One guy that you have seen in my Core for many weeks now is Peter Uihlein. He is a big time talent and a guy who I like going forward. When I was in Vegas I even put a few bucks on him to win The Open. I don’t think I really believe he can win The Open, but at 200-1+ odds, it was worth a shot.

This week we have another loaded field for The Scottish Open and most of the top players in the world are doing their final tune-ups here rather than in Illinois. I know you want me to lose my mind and tear apart Draftkings for the tiny contests that they rolled out this week for an amazing field, during MLB all-star break, leading into The Open, but I am not going to do it. You cannot make me do it.  I will just say really nice job Draftkings, your data is always correct and the hundreds of people who say otherwise on Twitter do not mean anything 🙂

Best of luck this week my friends!
