Jeff’s Hardcore Core- Sanderson Farms Championship

After all the build up, the Ryder Cup has now passed and we get back to normal PGA events. The Ryder Cup turned out to be pretty entertaining despite the outcome never really being in question. The US team did exactly what we thought and just overwhelmed the Europeans with talent. From top to bottom the US was loaded and the Europeans had a ton of holes, not to mention some underperforming studs as well. It will be interesting to see if this US team stays in tact for many years to come, because it sure looks like they could be a force for a long time with all of the youth. This week’s Sanders Farms Championship will see just one player from the Ryder Cup, which is defending champ Sergio Garcia. The field this week is pretty standard for a lesser fall event. Six of the past eight winners of the Sanderson Farms Championship have been first time Tour winners. Best of luck this week Team FGI!
