For those of us who’s favorite DFS sports are golf and football, we have reached our dream part of the year.  No break at all between the Tour Championship and week 1 of the 2021 PGA season, the U.S. Open next week, a PGA event every week throughout the fall, The Masters in November, and oh by the way the NFL season kicks off this week.  Needless to say we are slammed here at Fantasy Golf Insider and Football Insider Edge headquarters.  Speaking of which, if you have not signed up for our premium content over at footballinsideredge.com, we have amazing deals right now for tools and articles throughout the regular season and playoffs.  Zach is our cash game guru (shocking) and I specialize in GPPs (again, shocking), the Showdown slates were magical for us last year.  Tons to be excited about over the next few months!

This week the PGA Tour heads to Northern California and the Safeway Open at Silverado Resort.  Obviously there are very few marquee names this week with the Tour Championship having just wrapped up and the U.S. Open kicking off next week.  These type of fields have been very good to Team FGI over the years as has the entire fall season.  This is mostly because of how deep our knowledge goes of the lower echelon of players on the PGA Tour.  While the casual fan couldn’t pick guys like Mark Hubbard out of a lineup, we know that he is very much in form and could be an outstanding play this week.

After a couple of weeks without a cut, we go back to a Top 65 and ties cut, so be sure to make the adjustment.  Plenty of tournament history to work off of so be sure to check out the Tournament History Page and also take a gander at our Player Database to see who played their college golf or currently resides in California and who is comfortable with POA greens, see putting splits tool.

Best of luck this week Team FGI!
