Another PGA season is upon us after only a couple weeks removed from the Tour Championship.  I assume you are as amped up as I am for the Fall season, because over the past two Fall seasons, we have done extremely well with our cash game and GPP profitability.  I think a lot of the success can be attributed to knowing all of the new players that are entering the PGA Tour, while others haven’t put in the time and research that we have.  Last year we recommended Emiliano Grillo in our newcomers to watch article and also in our weekly preview for this event.  If you have not been reading Keagan Scott’s tournament summaries of Web.com events, I recommend you go under the expert columns tab and read all of the past columns over the past couple of months.  At the very least, read his preview column that we just posted, to learn about the guys that we like the best coming into the Fall.

This week we have the Safeway Open (formerly the Frys.com) and you will notice that my hardcore core contains several of those newbies to the Tour.  I will explain my personal GPP strategy this week as well as let you know who will be in my core of players that I will be playing this week.

Best of luck!

This week I am going with a stars and scrubs lineup composition for GPPs with most of the scrubs being the new members on tour.  I think there is some great talent, and the newbies are hungry to finish high, and there will certainly be no quit in them, they will be relatively low-owned, and we get them at a manageable price now, before they prove themselves.  Because their salaries are low, it allows me to go up to the highest priced guys.  You will notice that I have listed a few more guys than usual and that is because there is a ton of unknown with the new players, especially with it being their first event.  I will be reducing my exposure from what it would normally be and spread it around a bit more.
