The final event of the PGA Fall season is upon us and I cannot believe how fast it has gone. I am so anxious for the regular season to get started the first week in January, I can hardly stand it. I would like to apologize for not writing this column last week. I had a family emergency and was in the hospital most of the week and just could not do the heavy amount of research that I do each and every week that you deserve. Speaking of research to help you win GPPs, we will again be conducting our research study based upon all winning GPP rosters throughout 2016. Zach will be writing in-depth articles summarizing the results and will put them out weekly throughout December. Last year when we did this, people were blown away with the information. The game of DFS golf is constantly evolving and you need to stay ahead of the curve. It is imperative that you know this information, because it is more than just picking six guys every week. Game theory, ownership, strategic fades, weather, value, etc. are all things that need to be factored into your GPP strategy.

Onto the RSM Classic in Sea Island Georgia and a rather weak field, but clearly some guys that I like for GPP purposes. I really wish Draftkings would increase the size of their contests, as they fill easily every week as well as the secondary contests. Hopefully with the 2017 season they will start doing this and have larger, more exciting prize pools. This week getting six guys through the cut is going to be even more difficult than normal. There is a large field and not extremely strong at the top. For this reason, my GPP lineup composition is not going to be as different from my cash game roster composition as it usually is. I will be placing much more emphasis on cut-making ability this week than I usually do for GPP purpose, because I believe a very small percentage of the field will have 6/6 rosters. I would recommend you do the same.

As always, I wish you the best of luck this week and be sure to let me know if you are making a run come Sunday.
