Jeff’s Hardcore Core- Rocket Mortgage Classic

I think we became a little spoiled with the amazing strength of the fields these first few events since the return of the PGA, in events that normally don’t attract major type fields. This week is a major step down as most of the best in the world clearly aren’t lining up to head to Detroit.  No matter, we still have live sport, which in this current climate is a welcome relief.   The Rocket Mortgage Classic made its debut last year, so we do not have a long track record to work off of.  At least we saw what Detroit Golf Club has to offer and can now draw similarities to other courses using our new Course Comparison Tool.  All the tools are locked and loaded this week, including our rolling stats tool, which might be the most valuable tool right now because it gives us the ability to see a snapshot of just the past 8 and 12 rounds from these guys and captures just the numbers since the return from the long break. I also want to point you to our betting article, which has now featured the winner of the last SEVEN tournaments, an absolutely crazy accomplishment considering how highly variant the PGA Tour is from week to week.
