Jeff’s Hardcore Core- RBC Heritage

Before you succumb to The Masters hangover and remain in a depressed state, let me tell you that I feel really good about The RBC Heritage this week. The last two years I have had really big weeks at Harbour town and I think we are going to have another one this year. Sure, not many of the top players in the world are not playing this week, but that does not matter, and is actually a big advantage for Team FGI. I am so glad Draftkings is offering $100k to first place in the $3 Birdie contest this week, because I think someone from FGI is going to take it home. Before we dive into the RBC Heritage lets recap The Masters briefly. I was really high on Sergio Garcia and had a nice weighting on him last week, which paid off. Of course when DJ hurt his back I had to reconfigure my lineups dramatically having had a very large weighting on him. I pivoted partially to Rory, but also just went more of a balanced approach and included Fowler, Rahm, Casey, and Day. This paid off quite a bit as I also mixed in Rose to fill some gaping holes in rosters without DJ as well. It was a strong week for most of the Core overall. Obviously the Sunday charge by Core player Matt Kuchar propelled so many lineups into the money and into the winners circle. Henley, Kisner, Molinari, and Hadwin were all respectable as well. The biggest grenade I had on my rosters was Ty Hatton, who I thought set up well at Augusta, especially considering his reasonable price. Augusta proved to be too much for him in his first appearance, but check out below to see if I like him for a bounce back at Harbour town.

If you had a winning GPP week, congrats and keep up the good work. If you did not have a winning week, remember GPPs are tough and you are not going to win the majority of the time.
