Jeff’s Hardcore Core- NFL Week 17

Here we are folks the grand finale for the regular season is here, I cannot believe how fast the NFL season has flown by.  It seems like just yesterday I was working on my 10 Essential Strategies article.  I hope that column and all the information we have provided you throughout your season has helped you out in DFS as well as your season long leagues.  Thank you to those of you who have emailed and tweeted us, we really appreciate it and we will continue to give you the best information we possibly can in both football and golf.  Speaking of golf, the prices have already been released on Draftkings for the Tournament of Champions, which starts next Thursday in Hawaii.  I am working on my column for that tournament and will have that out soon.

Week 17 in the NFL is unlike any other week during the regular season and actually one that will give us a really nice edge, if we pay attention and work hard.  The reason is many people will not  know what teams have something to play for,  and thus not know who could possibly be resting or limiting players.  We need to look at the play-off picture closely, but we also need to try and gain information up until game time to see if coaches say anything that might indicate their intentions.  I am going to review the play-off picture for you in-depth so we know exactly who will be motivated and who will not.  After that we can analyze match-ups, game script/flow, and other variables to determine what players will be a part of our core.  Best of luck this week Team FGI!
